About Me

Gretel Vinas Headshot 2025
I’m Gretel Viñas—a graphic designer and front-end developer with a love for clean, human-centered design. I began my creative career as an illustration major, hand-rendering layouts for fashion catalog photo shoots. That early experience sharpened my eye for detail and composition, and eventually led me into graphic design, branding, and web.
Over the years, I’ve expanded into front-end development and UX-focused thinking—learning through client work, agency collaborations, and self-teaching. Today, I bring both strategy and creativity to every project, with a focus on clarity, usability, and design that connects. I also value strong relationships and clear communication—whether I’m working with clients, collaborators, or end users.

  • Branding and visual assets for onsite and digital use

This campaign helped establish MentorAPM’s leadership presence at WEFTEC through cohesive storytelling and bold, purpose-driven visuals. Boeh Agency led the strategic and creative direction for the project, and their full case study is linked below.

Almond Pro Package Design Mockups
Almond Pro Package Design Concepts

I created a suite of early packaging concepts for Almond Pro, a plant-based protein drink made with almond milk. The designs emphasized bold nutrition callouts, clean ingredient messaging, and strong shelf impact. These concepts helped define the brand’s initial visual identity as it moved toward retail. While the company later adopted a more conservative agency-led look, these early explorations contributed to their initial retail launch.

My Process

Whether I’m working on a website, a presentation, or a logo, my process starts with listening. I explore, sketch, and prototype with purpose—always balancing creative intuition with strategic goals. My goal is to create work that feels thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling, grounded in both brand identity and user experience.

I love helping ideas take shape—and I believe great design begins with curiosity and a pencil.
